The fashion industry is currently one of the most polluting sectors, that has to change! Fortunately, consumers are becoming more aware of sustainability and therefore prefer second-hand shopping. By giving a designer bag a second life, you save as much as 77 kg of CO2 and 22.833 liters of water, which is equivalent to 308 km by plane and 228 bathtubs. But what steps are we taking at Archives de Luxe to reduce our environmental impact? 
- Stripe Climate Control: we contribute 0,5% of our revenue from iDeal and CreditCard transactions to carbon removal. 
- We strive to source our products within Europe as much as possible, as it minimizes the distance they have to travel and helps to reduce carbon emissions.
- UPS Carbon Neutral Shipping: UPS's carbon neutral shipping supports projects that offset the emissions of the shipment's transport. UPS has supported projects that include reforestation, landfill gas destruction, wastewater treatment, and methane destruction.
- All shipping packages and materials are made from recycled materials. 
- We recycle all packages we receive from our partners, customers and even our own personal purchases. For example, if you find bubble wrap in your package, it is likely that it was originally used by a supermarket or similar.
